David Youngsmith

David Youngsmith, a principal of Hersh FamilyLaw Practice, is a Certified Family Law Specialist. He represents clients in all aspects of family law litigation practice. Before joining the Hersh FamilyLaw Practice in 2006, he had his own family law practice in San Francisco. Prior to that, David spent 15 years at Matthew Bender & Co., Inc., a leading provider of law practice and legal research tools. He was the Managing Editor of the company's national family law product line, and was responsible for several well-known publications, including California Family Law Practice and Procedure, the California Family Law Trial Guide, and the California Family Law Monthly. David was also the original creator of "Family Law Updates and Strategies," a live seminar now presented annually by the Bar Association of San Francisco.
